Outstanding Community Partner Award

Tatiana Moylan, MD, a staff member of the Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation, was presented with the Outstanding Community Partner Award from Minorities in Medicine leadership. It was presented on January 10, 2025, at Minorities in Medicine's Decade of Excellence Celebration at Grace Farms in New Caanan.

This milestone event included a special recognition of Yale School of Medicine with the Community Partner Award, and Moylan was honored by accepting it on behalf of the institution. “We've worked with Neurosurgery, Neurology, and the Nursing School as well as our impactful work with you all at the Simulation Lab, and I thought of you first, for this moment,” stated Waverly Rose Brim, founder, executive director, and CEO of Minorities in Medicine, a 501c3.

The heart of the celebration focused on the distinguished awards ceremony, to honor remarkable individuals whose dedication has helped to transform health care education. The celebration also reflected on past achievements and anticipation of a more inclusive future in health care.
